Dr. Darbro Has Retired
To my patients, the parents of my patients, their families, and their dentists,
After 42 years of providing orthodontic care to the central Indiana area, I have decided to retire. I have had the pleasure of watching adults move upward in their professions as well as youngsters grow to maturity and even bring their own children to me. Some families I have had the distinct joy of seeing three generations of gorgeous smiles.
A year and a half ago, Dr. Jamie Lazin came to me with an interest of learning how I practiced orthodontics. He came well trained—getting his bachelor’s degree from Emory University, his degree in Dentistry with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, and his Masters in Orthodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he earned his board certification in orthodontics as well. He spent the next two years working alongside a fine colleague of mine in the Bloomington area. I feel fortunate to have found in him just the right orthodontist to step in and continue to provide you with the very best care. He will be completing the cases that I/we started and I feel confident that he will continue to create the beautiful smiles that have characterized my practice.
Though growing up in Florida, he met and married an Indianapolis girl and they decided to stay in the Indianapolis area where she is a trained speech pathologist and works at Community Health Network. They have two beautiful daughters, Olivia and Emery.
